My Photography

The Golconda Fort

Tall, imposing solid brick walls
Construction bricks piled up in competition
Natural boulders these uncarved stones
A single cloud in the navy sky
 A Lush green grass carpet
The Sun beating down mercilessly
Afterall it is midday noon

The light in the dark dark night

The rays of the yellow street light
Filtering through the dark green web
Illuminate it
In the dark dark night

Alive

Perhaps the Earth can teach us
as when everything seems dead
and later proves to be alive.

                         - Pablo Neruda
                               in "Keeping Quiet"

The Earth at one season may look as if  it lies dead but it comes back to life in the very next season. Likewise our lives will also start to bear meaning as we walk our paths peacefully, introspecting in silence.
When we emerge from this silence, we emerge reborn, rekindled, reimagined and resolved for the better.
